Udakashanti

1. Purpose: Purification of the body, mind, and environment to remove obstacles and negative energies.

2. Water Element: Central to the ritual, using water for cleansing and spiritual purification.

3. Kalash (Water Pot): A pot or pitcher filled with water, symbolizing abundance and purity.

4. Mantra Recitation: Chanting of sacred mantras like Udakashanti for spiritual protection and blessings.

5. Offerings: Flowers, fruits, incense, and camphor offered to deities for blessings.

6. Sprinkling of Water: Water from the kalash is sprinkled over the participants and the surroundings to purify them.

7. Fire Ritual (Homa): A small fire ritual where offerings are made to invoke divine blessings.

8. Panchamrita Offering: A mixture of milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar is used to purify and seek blessings from the deities.

9. Aarti: Ritual of waving lighted lamps to honor the deity and express gratitude.

10. Prasadam: Distribution of blessed offerings (prasad) to participants as a symbol of divine grace and prosperity.
