1. Definitions
• Platform: Refers to the Muktikshetra Gokarna website recognised by muktikshetragokarna.com
• Vendor (Host) : Any individual or organization listed on the platform offering services (e.g., pujas, accommodations, homestays, satvik home food, vehicle rentals, tourpackages and so on).
• User (Guests) : Any individual using the platform to browse, request for bookingservices.
• Services: All offerings listed by vendors, including pujas, rituals, homestays, transportation, satvik home food, and guided tours.
2. Eligibility
• Users must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use the platform.
• Vendors must be authorized and certified to provide their respective services, by Muktikshetra Gokarna.
3. Services Offered
The platform enables booking for the following services, among others:
• Pujas: Rituals performed by authorized priests (e.g.Divine Pujas, Pitru Pujas etc.)
• Accommodation: Homestays, guest houses, lodgings and hotels.
• Travel Services: Local transport, axis, autos, two wheeler rentals, guided tours, and temple visits.
• Custom Packages: Tailored services for pilgrims and tourists.
4. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors (Hosts) on the Muktikshetra Gokarna platform are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality when interacting with users. Below are the guidelines vendors must follow to ensure a positive experience for all users (as they are our guests)
• Accurate Listings: Vendors must ensure their service descriptions, pricing, and availability are accurate and up-to-date.
• Service Quality: Vendors must deliver their services as mentioned-committed to the platform and in compliance with local customs and laws.
• Vendor Eligibility: Those who are ready to accept the rules & regulations, guidelines set by the platform to deliver their dedicated services to the users.
• Compliance: Vendors must adhere to local laws and regulations governing their services.
• Communicate in a polite and professional manner, avoiding rude or offensive language.
• Provide accurate information about services, pricing, availability, and terms in your listings.
• Avoid making false promises or misrepresenting your offerings.
• Respond promptly to platform admin, user inquiries and booking requests.
• Notify admin & users immediately of any unexpected changes or cancellations.
• Ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Show sensitivity and respect towards users’ cultural or personal beliefs, especially for spiritual services.
• Avoid discriminatory behaviour or remarks based on religion, caste, gender, or nationality.
• Address user complaints with a problem-solving attitude, ensuring they feel heard and valued.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the platform support team for mediation.
• Do not disclose or misuse users’ personal information shared during the booking process.
• Follow the platform’s privacy policy to ensure data protection.
• Ensure services are provided on time as per the agreed schedule.
• Avoid last-minute cancellations or delays without valid reasons.
• Avoid any form of harassment, including verbal, physical, or emotional abuse.
• Treat all users equally, without prejudice or bias.
• Accept user feedback gracefully and use it to improve your services.
• Resolve any issues identified by users to build trust and credibility.
5. User Responsibilities
To maintain a respectful and harmonious environment on the Muktikshetra Gokarna platform, users (our guests) are expected to follow these guidelines when engaging with vendors, utilizing their services, or using their property:
• Information Accuracy: Users must provide correct personal and payment information during the booking process.
• Treat vendors with courtesy, respect, and dignity, regardless of their background, culture, or professional role.
• Avoid using offensive, abusive, or derogatory language during interactions.
• Provide accurate personal details and requirements when booking services.
• Be upfront about special requests or conditions to ensure smooth arrangements.
• Arrive on time for scheduled services, rituals, or check-ins to respect the vendor’s schedule.
• Notify vendors promptly in case of delays or cancellations with ref to the cancellation and refund policy
• Use vendor properties (e.g., homestays, vehicles, puja place & materials) responsibly and with care.
• Avoid causing intentional damage or misuse of the vendor’s belongings or facilities.
• Follow all guidelines set by vendors regarding the use of their property (e.g., no smoking zones, restricted areas).
• Show respect for cultural and religious practices, especially during rituals like pujas or temple visits.
• Follow the vendor’s instructions during religious services to maintain sanctity.
• Abide by vendor-specific policies, including check-in/check-out times, noise restrictions, and dress codes.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at each and every moment as you have to take care of yourself, also please follow the advice or guideline given by vendors.
• Provide honest and constructive feedback about your experience to help vendors improve their services.
• Address concerns or issues directly with the vendor before escalating them to the platform.
• Avoid public defamation or baseless complaints about vendors or their services.
• Ensure timely payment for all bookings and additional services availed during your stay or interaction.
• Settle any charges for damages or extra services as agreed upon with the vendor.
• Respect the privacy of vendors and their staff. Do not invade personal spaces or misuse contact information.
• Avoid sharing pictures, videos, or details of vendor properties or rituals without explicit permission.
• Treat vendors fairly, without bias based on religion, caste, gender, or nationality.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
If users or vendors fail to follow the guidelines, the platform reserves the right to:
1. Issue Warnings: For minor infractions.
2. Restrict Access: Temporarily suspend the account for repeated violations.
3. Permanent Ban: Block from the platform for serious or harmful behaviour.
4. Legal Action: Pursue legal remedies for cases of severe damage, harassment, or fraud.
6. Booking and Payment Terms
• Booking Process: Bookings are confirmed through mail or whatapp or sms, only actual possibility, upon vendors approval and advance payment reeipt.
• Payment Methods: The platform accepts various payment methods, including UPI or net banking.
• Service Fees: A platform service fee may apply, which is non-refundable.
• Vendor-Specific Policies: Each vendor may have unique pricing, refund, and cancellation policies. Users should review these before booking.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellation Requests: Cancellations must be made through the platform or any other written communication.
• Refund Eligibility: Refunds will be processed according to the vendor’s cancellation policy. Service fees may not be refundable.
• Force Majeure: No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
8. Dispute Resolution
• Platform’s Role: The platform acts as a mediator in case of disputes between users and vendors.

10. Prohibited Activities
• Misrepresentation of services or identity.
• Posting offensive, fraudulent, or misleading content.
• Illegal activities, including unauthorized religious rituals or services.
• Use of the platform for spam, phishing, or malware distribution.
11. Privacy Policy
• The platform collects, processes, and stores user and vendor data in compliance with its Privacy Policy.
• Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.
